【Aim】 |
To understand the functions and mechanisms of human visual system for
color perception, space perception, motion perception, attention, pattern
perception, integration of sensory information, and so on. Phenomenal,
structural and computational aspects of the information processing of
the visual systems will be explained with latest experimental data. |
【Schedule】 |
- Guidance of lecture

【Prerequisite】 |
This class requires basic knowledge on human visual system. You can
learn the knowledge by reading the textbooks above or through the class
"Foundations of Perceptual systems" in spring semester. |
【How to Grade】 |
Evaluation will be based on the attendance and brief examination in
each lecture. |
【Message form the Lecturer】 |
This course will explain the outline of research process for understanding
the properties of visual system in addition to the results of researches
(the knowledge of the properties of visual system). |
