【Aim】
In this lecture, from the standpoint of the environmental control, technical elements including geographic information systems (GIS) and various remote sensing techniques are outlined. And, the applications are extended to examples of environmental control systems constructed for the mitigation of natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunami and flood, also to car navigation systems intending to promote safe and comfortable life in real world.
